Polewka
The housewives of Wielkopolska (Greater Poland) prepare this soup during Lent and often on Fridays as a lenten dish.
Ingredients:
1. 1.5 l buttermilk
2. 1 glass of cream or soured milk
3. 3 tablespoons flour
4. 4 large potatoes
5. salt
Instructions:
Stir and boil the buttermilk. Mix the flour and cream, shake and gently pour into the boiling buttermilk. Boil once more and add salt. Boil the potatoes in their jackets, then peel and slice them and add to soup.
