PARKOWO
Parkowo is a village located in Oborniki district (powiat), ca. 8 km south-west of Rogoźno.
The architectural solution of this church, erected between 1780 and 1802, is maintained in a combined baroque and classicist style. The temple is a centrally-arranged edifice founded on a circular base. Its round central part, covered by a tambour dome, opens through arcades toward the bypass formed by four larger and four smaller quasi-oval-shaped rooms. These larger rooms, covered by semi-cupola structures, comprise e.g. the main altar and two side altars. In one of the latter is an icon of Our Lady with the Infant, a work of the Spanish school from ca. mid-17th century. A wooden pulpit dates to the end of 18th c.
