A town located in the Kujawskie (Kuyavian) Lake District, on the Noteć river, in Kujawy-Pomerania Province; one of the most important localities on the Piast Route.
The central part of the Inowrocław health resort is its Brine Park (Park Solankowy), spanning over a ca. 16ha area. At the main entrance, from Solankowa St., you will see a huge sundial. The flower beds and stands, formed of varied flower species, are really beautiful and impressive in the summertime. A band shell has been built in the middle of the area; a bust of Z. Wilkoński, the health resort’s founder, stands near by; a monument commemorating the 100th anniversary of the resort’s establishment (1875–1975) can be seen near a local club. In the park’s western part, brine graduation towers were built in 1995 to 2001, in the form of two neighbouring interiors constituting great natural inhalation stations. The towers’ total length is 322 m. Their wooden log construction is filled with blackthorn branches against which the brine flowing down from the above splatters, creating a specific microclimate. An observation deck is set above the graduation towers (offering a view of the park and the town).
