A ninepin-shaped stone figure stands outside St. Bartholomew's church in Konin. The singpost has a slightly worn Latin inscription at eye-level to notify the wayfarer that it was erected exactly halfway between Kalisz and Kruszwica by Komes Piotr (Don Peter) in 1151. This makes it the oldest signpost in Poland and one of few such objects in Europe.
