RĄBIŃ
A village located in Kościan district (powiat), ca. 9 km north-east of Krzywiń.
The local single-nave church was built in 15th-16th century, partly using for the purpose granite-block Romanesque walls of a temple that had stood on the site earlier on. In 1648, two baroque chapels were erected at its sides. The old presbytery was demolished in 1904/1905 and replaced by a new one. The church façade is crowned with a tall gothic-renaissance staircase-shaped top dating to ca. mid-16th century. The outer walls display two boards showing the Stations-of-the-Cross of Kopaszewo, dated 1854. Inside are three late-baroque altars from the 2nd half of 18th century and a late-renaissance ambo (2nd quarter of 17th c.). Two late-renaissance tombstones of Rąbiński family members, made ca. 1614 and featuring reclining figures of the buried, dressed in armours, have been removed to the presbytery.
A grave of General Dezydery Chłapowski is to be found by the church.
