PIŁA

This county seat in northern Wielkopolska is approx. 100 km north of Poznań.

The Museum opened in 1975 and has been housed in the same Italian villa residence from the outset. The collections are presented in several sections on history, archaeology, ethnology and art. The exposition of merchant class interiors has a complete collection of everyday items from the 18^th-19^th centuries and is well worth a visit.

The Folk Culture Museum in Osiek nad Notecią is a branch of the District Museum.
