Nowy-Tomyśl is a county town located on the Szarka river, ca. 62 km west of Poznań, at the Warsaw–Poznań–Berlin route axis.
The Museum is a branch of the National Museum of Agriculture and Agricultural-and-Food Industry in Szreniawa. For the purposes of this outlet, reconstructed was a Dutch-settlers’-styled residential house from the late 18th century as well as a huntsman’s house, now the scene of cyclical and temporary exhibitions and a permanent nature display (on the attic storey). Braiding workshops held by the Museum are quite an attraction.
